After a hearty breakfast and breaking down camp, journey south through picturesque farmland, where the winding roads themselves become the destination. Traverse the rolling hills of the Khomas region, soaking in stunning countryside views. Discover the charm of Solitaire before arriving at your campsite within the awe-inspiring Namib Naukluft National Park. In the afternoon, venture towards Sossusvlei, capturing postcard-perfect moments amidst the striking contrast of white clay pans, rust-red dunes, and the deep blue sky. As the sun dips below the horizon, your guide will lead you to the perfect sunset vantage point, where you can savor a cold drink and witness nature’s mesmerizing light show. Return to camp for a delicious dinner under the stars, culminating in a cozy night’s sleep in your tent.

We rise and shine early today! While it’s still dark, head to the nearby Elim Dune to catch a stunning sunrise over a cup of tea or coffee. After returning to camp for a hearty breakfast, explore the majestic Sesriem Canyon, sculpted by the Tsauchab River over millennia. Take a short hike through the canyon’s impressive rock formations.

Around midday, leave the national park and journey to Rostock Ritz, nestled on the edge of the Namib Desert. Spend the afternoon relaxing and taking in the breathtaking, untouched landscape. Immerse yourself in the desert’s peaceful solitude or embark on one of the well-marked hiking trails to explore the area. Tonight, you’ll spend another night under the stars in a tent.

It is definitely a good idea to take a walk at sunrise. It is hard to find anything more captivating than gazing out at the seemingly endless and solitary landscape during the early morning hours, feeling utterly at peace with oneself. You will be welcomed back with breakfast by your guide. Swakopmund is situated along the Atlantic Ocean coast, where nature gives way to civilization for a short period. After lunch, you will take a city tour of Swakopmund. Swakopmund has a reputation for being Namibia’s German city; you are reminded of the German colonial era every time you turn a corner – you will recognize the German vocabulary, food, and architecture. Have dinner in one of the many restaurants (at your own cost).

We depart from Swakopmund for Cape Cross Seal Colony, home to one of the largest seal colonies in the world. A true spectacle on land and in the sea. Continuing inland, you reach the Brandberg Mountain. We set up camp under the shade of trees before embarking on an exciting excursion into the dry Ugab Riverbed. This area is known for the rare desert elephants, which are slightly smaller than their savanna counterparts. Your guide will use patience and tracking skills in this unique Damaraland landscape to locate these remarkable animals.

Before lunch, you arrive at the Twyfelfontein. Get ready to be amazed by the over 2,500 of rock engravings. It is calculated that these engravings are between 2000 and 6000 years old. Afterwards, we continue to Palmwag. An oasis of palm trees at the Uniab River in north-western Damaraland. You may enjoy a quick dip in the pool before venturing out on a game drive throughout the 5000 square kilometre private concession. Afternoon light illuminates the flat hillsides and rare plants. Animals including the Oryx antelope, the kudu, the ostrich, the jackal, and the hyena are also found here. There is a possibility of spotting a lion, a black rhino, or desert elephants with a little luck. After watching the sunset, enjoy a sundowner drink before returning to the camp. It is refreshing to eat dinner at a restaurant – there will be a variety of delicious options. Your tent will be your home for the night.

You can reach the Grootberg Plateau via the picturesque Grootberg Pass. During your visit to the viewpoint, you will witness spectacular views over the Klip River Valley. Explore Namibia’s most popular national park, Etosha National Park. There are hundreds of species of mammals, birds and reptiles in the park. The search for wild animals begins as soon as you enter through the Galton Gate. Once you arrive at Olifantsrus Camp, you set up your camp. The watering hole below is very popular with elephants, and from the elevated platform you can observe these animals.

We begin the day with a cup of tea or coffee and some rusks. Early in the morning is the best time for game drives, and you will be out in the park at sunrise, searching for elephants, rhinos, giraffes, impalas, lions, and cheetahs in the west of the park. If you are fortunate, you can observe elephants taking a bath or drinking at watering holes. A hearty breakfast is served at the camp. Your next destination is Okaukuejo, where you will spend the next two nights. There are many opportunities to view wildlife along the way. A popular hangout for many of the park’s animals, the illuminated watering hole provides an excellent opportunity for wildlife viewing and photography in the evening.
